Includes item description, metal(s) testing, multi-view photographs, research time and report preparation.
( ) Simple item Single ring, pendant with neck chain, bracelet, pair of earrings, etc.
( ) Multi-part item Engagement and wedding ring set, pearl strand necklace with fancy clasp, charm bracelet, coin jewelry, etc.
- $40 each item + $20 per additional part described
( ) Complicated item Antique and period jewelry, notable designer couture items, and any item of historical importance or provenance requiring additional research, documentation, etc.
( ) Loose Stone
- $30 each stone + appropriate stone fee.
( ) Watches
- $80 for contemporary items.
- $100 and up for antique, unique or limited-edition items (by quote).
Note: Multi-item reports may qualify for a fee reduction of $10 per item ( There is only one photo view of each item in multi-item reports. Additional photos available. See "Additional Services" section below.)
PART 2: STONE FEES

- $30 discount with qualifying gemological laboratory grading report *

( ) Major colored stone, ID and description
- $30 discount with qualifying gemological laboratory grading report *
( ) Group of closely matched small diamonds or colored stones
( ) Group of graduated size small diamonds or colored stones
* Qualifying gemological reports for appraisal fee discounts are issued by the following laboratories:
- Gemological Institute of America (GIA)
- American Gem Society Laboratory (AGS)
- European Gemological Laboratory (EGL)
- Gem Certification & Assurance Lab (GCAL)
- Antwerp World Diamond Centre (HRD)
Note: The original document must be presented with the stone(s) or jewelry item(s) being appraised. Other laboratory reports may qualify at our discretion. Previous appraisal reports from other sources and/or point-of-purchase documentation pertaining to the item(s) being appraised may qualify for a discount of the appraisal fee at our discretion based on the completeness and accuracy of the information therein.

Note: The item (s) must be present for verification of condition and must not have been altered subsequent to our previous report.
Our original Appraisal Report number or a copy of our original report should be presented with the item(s) to facilitate the retrieval of our records.
( ) Expert Witness Services
- Court appearance, minimum fee $500 per day or $200 per hour whichever is higher, billed daily from the scheduled appearance time until excused by the court.
- Travel time $60 per hour from our office to the scheduled destination and return to office.
- Lodging and airfare expenses billed at cost.
- No trade discount on Expert Witness Services.

All appraisal work is performed in our secure downtown office in the Jewelers Exchange Building, San Diego, CA.
Personal property is insured while in our possession by Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company.
